Middle School and High School Learn to RowMS/HS LTR is open to all incoming 6th graders through outgoing 12th graders interested in learning the basics of rowing, teamwork and physical fitness via dryland training. After completing this week of LTR rowers are invited to join junior novice practices through August 31st at no additional charge! Junior Novice practices are held M-F 2p-4p. No prior experience necessary. Class size is limited to 5 rowers to ensure physical distancing. Rowers will be learning to to row in singles so come prepared to get wet! What: Your Learn to Row fee includes this one week session, and the ability to join our Junior novice sculling practices through August 31st. Novice sculling practices are Monday-Friday 2p-4p. Lead Instructor: HS LTR and Junior Novice programs will be coached by Justin Stevens.Justin rowed four years as a member of the Vanderbilt Men's Rowing team and sculled competitively for the New York Athletic Club. Recently, he was announced as an invitee to USA U23 lightweight 4x selection camp that would have been selected for the world championships this summer. Covid-19 protocolAthletes

Unless they attend with a sibling. In that case they can row in a
double. (Parent-child pairs may take adult LTR.) Athletes must wear a mask in the boat bay. We have extras if you forget. HERE is the link to MRC's safety protocols during Dane County Phase 1.
