Middle School and High School Learn to RowMiddle School (incoming 6-8 grade) and High School (incoming 9-12 grade) Learn to Row Camps are open to those interested in learning the basics of rowing, teamwork and physical fitness via dryland and on the water training. Our program offers skilled instructors, fun and cultivates an empowering environment. Coaches will work with rowers to achieve this goal! **Those interested in coxswaining (steering the boat) may be exempt from this requirement. Tuition is $250.00 for the learn to row camp week where our skilled coaches teach rowing fundamentals. The tuition also includes 2 weeks of rowing practice with our novice group. Upon completion students will then have the opportunity to join our team! No prior experience necessary. ALL individuals are welcome and encouraged!! Class size is limited to a maximum of 14 rowers and minimum of *4. Please check out our swim test requirement before signing up, and make sure your student completes the test before class begins! Payment can be made online or checks may be sent and addressed to: Camps may be canceled due to low enrollment. If cancellation is instigated by Mendota Rowing Club a full refund will be issued. If a participant cancels within 7 days of the start of camp a refund will be issued minus a $10.00 administrative fee. If a participant cancels less than 7 days a 50% refund will be issued. A student may change dates to another week free of charge within 7 days of the original camp registration date.
